Poem

Fill me up
I'm a half empty cup
A hole the size of a puzzle
Is missing from my heart
This missing piece causes me grief
No matter how I try to shake it
At times you will find me sad for no reason
Sometimes I take a look back at my life
No amount of back tracking can heal 
The scratch 
There's no bandaid to protect it either
So the harsh wind blows
 My insecurities continue to flow
As people let loose their opinions
Digging their nails into my wounds
My glass is leaking 
Drop by drop
I feel more empty 
When will it just stop
When will I feel full again 
Full like I use to 
No one can make amends
There's no church sermon 
That I can absorb to fix this gap
There's just me
Living my life 
Happily as one can be 
Happily empty
Just know when I get quiet all of a sudden
It's because i'm thinking about this hole
      This empty empty part of me 
  That no one else seems to know about 
       But it's there and i'm not full 
                I'm thirsty and hungry
                and most of all just lonley
