Poem

an empty wall lays bear
Not a lick of paint
Not a layer of wallpaper
No floral in sight

The wall is cold and still
brick by brick it decays
in each groove a layer of dust
Dances in the breeze

Not even cobwebs
Nor the tiniest of spiders
Have laid to rest
Not upon this wall

It is not a room
No other walls stand by it
Nor does a roof
Just a wall decaying in rain

Seasons come and seaons go
The wall stands all alone
Where did it come from?
No one knows

Where will go?
somwhere below
this lonely wall
Standing empty and bear

Faces come to see the wall
they sit on it
they lean on it 
and they kick it

But no one knows
Just how it feels
Standing on its own
sunrise to sunset

Birds visit the wall
They squeel and squak
flitter and flatter
but the wall stays empty still

To you and me this may be a wall
Its rough exteior is quite content
The wall exits for no purpose
But any existence is a purpose
