Do I scare you?
Haunted on every line?
Do I touch you?
dumbfounded.
The awe deep inside
Do you merely read me?
Influenced by my thoughts.
Or do you reach out
and touch me?
feeling me inside.

Do you readily judge me?
Haunting me on every line
you do, you know.
I fear
every word I write.

Am I making sense?
Can you sense my faults?
Am I good enough?
I reveal my soul on paper
and in essense
I question yours.

Do I scare you?
haunting you
with every line you read and write.
Are you trying to touch me?
fill my heart with emotion
that triggers the mind.
Am I merely reading you?
Analyzing the style
in which you try.

I sense your faults
haunting you in every line.
Are you making sense to me?
Is this something you want me to read?
What are you expressing?
They're just thoughts to me.

Do I intrigue you?
Do you want to figure me out?
Can I sense the metaphor?
Am I on the surface
or do you need to dig deep?
Do I make sense to you,
like the way,
I make sense to me?

Am I just another poem
unlike the beauty
flowing through your thoughts
as you read on?

you are my creation
your present feelings
and thoughts

By reading this
and realising its effect
YOU have become my poetry
that only you
can express

and when the poem stops
the poem really begins

now you're really haunted by the ghost of a shadowfiend
