Poem
Between two worlds life hovers like a star. We sparkle from afar. There have been tears and a breaking heart for thee. Remembering when I stood beneath the fresh green tree. Through the green leaves he lifted my walls of gray. There were no words to say. Thy gentle hand clasped into mine. Seen in his eyes was an inner shine. His heart more truly knew that peal too well That it ran much deeper then bodies of a shell. Seen through the darkness of his eyes a lingering love shines. Could thy eyes have been following mine? We slowly started for our souls are wanting there. Moments will turn into memories that we both will share. My soul trembles as it glows. With my whole being I feel internal love my heart knows. I cherish the tenderness of the mountain shadow kiss Which in my heart still gleams for moments stand still for they are missed. Our feelings are perchance of heavenly birth. Which in reality couldn’t remain on earth. Reflections of his soul that is nature packaged so neat. I recall upon thee night so sweet. He nurtured and taught I to be me so dear. Listen with thy heart not thy ear. The deepest trace of love is still there. For it marks the fire still sparkling in his eyes of those moments we shared. In returns of sweetness by nature given In softest innocence back to heaven The gateway of the smiling sky There are love will lay we sparkle from afar Our moments are captured in the evening star.
