Poem

Everyday in my life, after the age of twelve
I told myself never to cry and be a man
Now it seems that I'm doing fine following what I said
Not a single tear rolled down my beautiful face
But whoever knew tht somehow that would change
Once I had opened my heart
Not I doubt that I can
Follow what I said before

My heart  was closed and seel tight
Making it impossible to get in
But one special person managed
To slip right through
But now we have to go
Our separate ways
Because I want her to remain happy
No matter if my heart gets broken...

Now it struggle to sleep every night
Sometimes I wished that my life be taken away
One too many time have I been hurt and I again I face it
Strength doesn't matter to me because once again I'm lonely
Yet she still remains in my mind
And she has done much good for me
But I cannot just
Hold her back because of me

So this is goodbye my love
And my dear friend
Because I'm like a road block to her
Keeping her held back
So now we must go
Our own separate ways
For it is good of her happiness
