God lend me your ear and reach out your hands
To use them to heal the heart of a friend
Take away the worry and the fear in her soul
Love her without ceasing and please make her whole

I’m a witness to a miracle so I know you are real
Take away any sickness and I ask you to heal
Any affliction that was placed on her sweet life
That brings stress and worry or any other strife

Show her your mercy and your loving embrace
Send down your Angels and bless her with grace
God we do know that you are always in control
Show her the path and be the light of her soul

Let her heart not be troubled as the good book does say
Show her your love in a special kind of way
So she can be a witness and share the blessings received
She’s a treasure to others and she’s a treasure to me

Thank you for listening and lending me your ear
For giving me an Angel that wipes away the tears
I cherish the moments I spend with my friend
Until you call us to heaven and time on earth must end
