Just me

I like to be in the kitchen
Making all kinds of food
Somehow when I am cooking
It gets me in a good mood

I can make all kind of dishes
Chinese and American Italian
And the foods of the Caribbean
Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidadian

Like to bake all types cakes 
And decorated it till complete
Also make some of the best pies
That you can ever eat

We all are so different
That’s how we was created to be
Some may say am kind of silly
But that’s just me being me

Some like to drive fast cars
And play music very loudly
While they drive thru parking lots
So every one can look and see

Some girls show tattoos in public
In places that is not appropriate
But everyone  must have their cup of tea
And a right to set their own plate

I like to write poems and songs
Some will make you happy 
And then some will make you cry
But that’s just me being me

Some people like to travel the world
From Australia. Singapore to Japan
I know I cannot do it
So its not part of my plan

Some like to hurt others
And inflect pain in their hearts
And then have no conscience
As their world falls  apart

But my father always says
God will judge all that you do
So I will keep on being just me
And let you be just you
