Poem
We mere shadows seek supports When somewhere else lie our beings Uncared for in inarticulate shores, By debris left of uprisings. Before the delayed departure Does our bliss alight for a while On precipices. In the brief Interlude within eternity. Can traverse on and on it seems. We are never sure. But sure is Someone somewhere out there. In the Unsteady search after him We seek in crevices of despair The happiness that is someone’s And in slots of slothfulness Activity that is somewhere Within partitions of prejudice Peace that fills this whole space. Let stepping on a step be Stepping out of a sticky stretch Listen, O.singer, listen To the low cry of the sky In the ambivalent interlude Between highs of perturbed psyches To the unheard lullaby of The would-be-mother in the Throbbing sentiments of wombs To the chilling details of Gory murder committed inside Benevolent exteriors To the sweetened nothings doled out In stainless steel spoons , alongside Wholesome meals in golden plates. Say with firmness your final word When word has still not turned bad Synthesise the words in your songs Living on expansive tracts Of labored compromise, we rest Brooding on the breakage of lull Pallid is the searchlight till Someone takes it on. Some console Some. We are never consoled From hard country sides are coming Cowherds in groups bringing in Everlasting good hope and cheer Coming with the groups is candour Calling from nowhere. Made up faces Pale in the pallid still lights. Come in and call the legions Guarding honourable deeds Come in and watch the heroics Going on in honourable names Going with the wind is the Little piece of change. Peace be Unto earth atleast , the storm Having passed. And wait For the whirlwind curled up in peace. Simple tales tell of samplings Of world. Some are like Surging surf in shores of gold. Some are like rocky remains Of holocausts cast out in the Smouldering corners of mind. Not even by error does the Dead stuff relive. None in the camp Is one with the sizzling gang. In the light-driven carriage Of earth, we bask in sunshine, Melt in rain, and freeze in thunder. Pardon the sin that is not Pardon the trespass that passed Pardon the pardoned again and again.
