I grew up in a small town
Where I thought we were put on solid ground
But when it came around
I shoulda just lived in the pound
I wanted to change the world
But the porn on my laptop just got me stuck
Everyday is the same ol thing
Everyday its to the same ol king
I repent tonight
I pray for flight, that you just might
Make it all aight, tonight
Sundays roll along
But its all the same ol' song
I'm lookin all nice and fancy
Hopin that you can see me and Nancy
All dressed up
Dress pants, shoes, shirt and tie
I thought I was on a ball
This ain't no lie, why?
Because its what i didn't know
About the REAL God, the REAL truth
Now i'm sittin in youth group
Wearin my t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes
Even rockin by baseball cap
Without getting any yap back
If the real God is gonna take me
He'll take me as I am
Now i'm not prayin me
I just want everyone to lay down their gun clips
And just figure out what love is
No man, this ain't show biz
This stuff is legit
All you need to do submit
Get in the flow with Christ
He loves us all so much
That our sin was paid for
Like it was under priced
Let your pride hit empty
As your faith gets high
Don't be so odd
Do as the Roman's did
And get right, with the real God
Cuz when it's all said and done
Your gonna wish a restart
When you find out the fun has just begun
