Poem
I can not give you solutions to the problems that life has brought you, or have answers to the doubts that you might have. I can only listen to you and try to find them together. I can not change your past or your future, but if you need me Ill be there. I can not avoid it if you stumble. I can only give you my hand so you won't fall. Your joys, happiness and successes are not mine, but sincerely I enjoy it when I see what they have done for you. I don't judge the decisions you make in life. I limit myself to suport you and help you if you ask. I can not avoid it if you distance yourself from me. I can only wish you the best and wait for your return. I can not set limits on how you should act. I can only offer you enough space for you to grow. I can not avoid your sufferings when a great pain breaks your heart. I can only cry with you, pick up the pieces and try to make it new. I can not tell you who you are, or who you should be. I can only love you the way you are and be your friend. On this day I prayed for you and remembered my most precious friends. I am happy that I have more friends than I imagine. That is what they tell me and they prove it to me. I see the shine on their eyes and the smiles on their faces when they see me. I also feel peace and happiness, when I see them and we talk. Today - I was thinking of my friends and suddenly you were there in my thoughts. You were not at the top of the list, or in the middle, or at the end. I only know that you have a special quality, that was transmitted to my life a long time ago. I don't pretend to be the first, second, or third on your list. For me it's enough if you want me for your friend. Now I understand that we are true friends. I prayed and gave thanks to GOD for giving me a friend like you... O4/19/2012 Written by Lucilla M.
