Poem
As I walk into the room my heart is beating threw my chest, Just the thought of him, waiting for me, sends my heart racing, I have been waiting for this moment for as long as we have been together, No more waiting, no more planing, its now or never, tonight is the night, I walk into the room and see all the small things he has done here, The candles on the mantel, the new sheets, all the photos of us together, He has tried as hard as he could to make this night prefect for me, After I take this all in, I see him for the first time standing there, He look so amazing standing there, so perfect just standing still, As he walks closer to me I take the sight of him all in, He walks to me and kisses me softly, I start to melt into him, As we move towards the bed, all these thoughts running threw my mind, This is the night I have been waiting for for a very long time, As we lay together, this marks the latest in a long line of times we lie together, But tonight is unlike them, this night I don't have to leave, I can stay rapped up in him all night, As we lay there kissing and touching each other, it feels like this is the safest place ever, I feel so safe and warm in his arms, I never want to leave this safe place he makes for me, I need no more than to stay here forever, but sometimes a thought creeps into my mind, Does he really love me, then I think, he has to love me, It wouldn't feel this right if he didn't, would it, he has to love me, I push that thought out of my head for now, and concentrate on him, I take in the smell of him, the feeling of his weight on top me, I would marry him now if he asked, but he's not ready for that yet, I really don't know if he ever will, but if he is I hope to God I will be made his wife someday, I want to be the mother of his children, his wife, the person next to him in bed every night, I would move the moon and stars to make that happen, but I know I can't press him to much, For I would take just having him, even if its only half the time, over not having him at all, He whispers I love you softly to me, I close my eyes and take in the moment, This was the best night of my life, and now all I want is more, and soon I will get my wish, All I want is to be his forever, and I will never stop waiting for him no matter what, But I know he will be leaving soon, and I start to cry softly as he sleeps next to me.
