God Gives Peace For Our Struggles Within…

I was talking with someone who had many struggles within.
He said he “couldn’t help giving in to sin.”

He talked about the many kind of things
 he’s been going through.
He was very discouraged. 
 And didn’t know what to do.

Phillipians 4:8 was the verse that came to my mind.
That which is lovely and good…  He should find!

He acknowledged the truth of what God’s word said.
And said he “was going to clean house.” 
Before he went to bed.

It was just a few weeks later that I met him at church.
He had a desire for more of God.  And a new “search.”

As he searched God’s word, 
he found the help he needed.
“God please help and forgive me,”
 were the words he pleaded.

He reached “rock bottom.”  With no way out.
And discovered what living for Christ is all about!

He began to have victory in area of life he never had.
God had given him his hope and love.  He was so glad!

As he came closer to Jesus, his life had a new meaning.
Into the arms of his savior, he was leaning!

He discovered the power of what Christ can do!
And found hope in the words of Christ; 
“I LOVE YOU!”

Won’t you accept the gift from God,
 this person received?
And find out what it’s like to trust God and believe!

 life changing power!
