As I traveled across the moonlit sky, I sat on the moon and whispered and sighed and wondered..........who am I .......and why.........I thought for a while!!!!  Looking back across this black starry wonder of space it was.......... distant........... but yet close I remember a place. I travel back and ride the rain and stop at this place but I saw pain and it hurt me and I remembered more but I had no idea what was in store so I sat under a big oak tree in the flat of a field beside a small dry creek my memories came to me and I thought for a while.............distant....... in mind but close all the time bright as today but far away and ....distant.........is my love from her,she is beautiful , a fine red haired girl, slender and fair a big two story house, a small farm and kids about........Distant.......is the space we share we r still friends tho lovers not anymore, she carries my love with her..............distant..........Tho the fields are over grown, fence posts are silent without any wire, tho they stand silent waiting to be mended, like my heart that is silent and..... distant......Tho the red haired woman so fair and tender........she marries another and does not linger and wait to see if our love is fake.......distant.......she moves forward and moves on fast and I often wondered why our love didnt last.....distant........I can see, everyday her memory comes to me and I see her red hair and smiling face, my heart starts to race as I think of a love that went to waste and became......distant.......I will live until I am gone and will see her face in my memory that carries me away to a place on a farm near by where I left my love and wonder if it will ever come again to a man that has become ......................................................distant.
