This morning when I woke up I looked out and saw the rain
That explained the reason my body was in pain
But the hurt went deeper into the depths of me
I felt like I was being tossed on a raging sea
I knew something was going on for when I feel this way
I know to sit and listen to what the Lord will say
I settled back in my chair and said Lord what's going on
I know you're grieving heavily I can hear your inward groan
After a few minutes he began to share with me
Just how much it hurts him to look down on earth and see
The way his children get caught up in the devil's evil schemes
Calling some things tollerable no matter how it seems
It hurts to see them just sit by and not stand up for me
I long to have my children back so our relationship can be
The way the Father had it planned when he first created man
To walk beside his children together hand in hand
My heart is truly breaking for I know how things will be
When I look at my creation and say depart from me
Only my Father knows that time but I can tell you this
If you are not sold out to me the rapture you will miss
So listen to me children with boldness stand and say
There is no other path to God I am the only way
