Please and thankyou should come almost second nature to us as manners are very much apart of life as breathing. Without manners where would we get, at times we may forget to use them whether it be a simple thankyou or please when you ask for something it can have real meaning when it comes from the heart. In a recent article in the local paper I read that Thankyou is old-fashioned and younger people are changing the word to "Cheers", or "Nice One" making the word Thankyou seem old fashioned, I don't know how it can seem that way as it is such an easy little word to say. Why what is wrong with society it has really lost the plot and totally emersed in daily life and forgot just what manners are. How can that be it is something I cannot see the reason for deleting the word thankyou and replacing it with "cheers" I mean that does not sound half as nice and thoughtful as "Thankyou", it is two simple little words why don't we use it and use it often as it is a really lovely word that should be heeded and most of all observed. Think about what this is saying to the world and how we as people have become and the great loss of natrual affection with kind and thoughtful words especially our manners as they cost nothing to say and they can really touch peoples hearts and make their day. Next time Someone does something kind for you why not remember to say a heart-felt Thankyou.
