Poem

I could never imagine what it will ever feel like 
just to have the pertect man made for me.
I never knew what he will look like 
or if it could even be.

I always knew that I had an adam because I was a perfect eve,
who just wanted my king to find me 
and take me from misery.

For so long I dealt with pain from men who choose to use me,
blinded by the thought of just wanting to be free.
I always wanted to give the inner part of myself,
but never could because those men choices
left me the choice to keep it on the shelf.

I knew I was the woman that every man would need
and couldnt understand why hurt would choose me.
Finally after so long, and so many tears over the years,
My adam finally appeared and buried all my doubts and fears.

The moment I saw him, I knew life had changed
and because of that my courage to love again was just re-gained.
The joy he place in my heart over-whelms the tears of happiness I cry
The peace that he has placed upon me
lets me never look back and ask why.

The love that he endures through my soul
flows to my mind and lay deep inside my heart
I love my man til death does us apart

I never knew than,
but Im glad that I know now
and I thank god above for that day I was found.

My adam. My King. His Eve. His Queen.
That I am and so blessed to say
that I am truly in love with the man that was
Perfectly made for me this day.
