Poem

I wake up in the morning, hoping this will be the day.
That what I've hoped and prayed for will finally come my way.
But there's no love or luck in sight to ease my weary stress.
I't s funny, I just seem to wake up with a little less.

Maybe it's these songs I write to chase away these blues.
Reactions I get from the readers, just confuse my muse.
And now my pen just doesn't know what is wrong or right.
As another friend just seem's to slip completely out of sight.

You'd think I'd learn to change the way I live.
The truth is, there isn't anything I own, I wouldn't give.
Or nothing I wouldn't say you want me to confess.
But sadly you just seem to want a little less.

I lye in wait for answers, I know will never come. 
That's just the way it has to go, I guess at least for some.
I hope that you don't feel that I am  just waisting your time.
As I go on and  share my heart and soul in simple rhyme.
