My son, there are some things I know that you might think are wise,
So let me pass them on to you now so that you may also realize.

If, when a woman is dressing, she should ever ask you if she looks alright,
She is really asking if she will be the one that you’ll be looking at tonight.

And if she has to remind you more than once where her eyes are at,
It’s not necessarily too bad of a thing unless she asks if she is fat.

If she should ever say that that the roast she made is fine,
Please never agree but rather insist that it tastes just divine.

If she should ever say that her make-up no longer covers up enough,
Save yourself by saying that you never knew she even wore the stuff.

And if you are in an argument be sure it’s one that you’ll want to keep,
Winning the war is cold comfort when it’s by yourself you’ll sleep.

And there are times when she will display completely insane behavior,
Trust me when I say, giving her dark chocolate will be your only savior.

And if you should share this information when you see your mom tonight,
She will say that I am wrong and I will say that she’s absolutely right.
