Can you see the light?
Look further - 
some call it the light at the end of the tunnel

Can you see the cloud? 
They say there is a silver lining
no

I never get too close to experience it

things always fall apart before 
I reach the light
or 
before I see the silver lining

maybe my eyes were never meant to see it - 

Just like the magic carpet 
just disappeared from under me

Did you see me fall?
Flat on my face - 

No don't worry 
I’ll get up again... 

I am a fighter you see 
the battle scars lie deep within - 
today I cried with no tears
tomorrow I might laugh with tears

the contrast and outside influences keep
me on an even keel 
so with or without that silver lining

the clouds will always be there 

that tunnel does not reflect light...

It is just a reminder 
that sunshine or rain
while I can still feel emotion 
even if it is just heartache and pain

I am still alive...
