Poem

Life is the way for us to enjoy and play,
Life is a game that is better when we kneel down and pray.
Praying is something that gets us closer to Him.
Life’s game begins with our faith, it comes from within.

I despise what life’s woes that can bring us to shame,
That people lie, cheat, steal, to them it’s a fun game.
We have many games like baseball, football, basketball, to name a few.
But with the Lord, it’s a serious game so many can’t get through.

Chess, monopoly, are a few other games that come to mind.
Strategy is the rule and it comes very easy to masterminds.
We as humans sometimes treat our spiritual life as a game.
Forgetting our Father and Jesus, breaking His life’s laws, is really a shame.

Ignoring His laws and edicts, is a bad way to play this game.
His book is taken out of context many times, we should be very ashamed.
This game we are playing with our Father’s spiritual laws,
Will be addressed in His coming, and it really sticks in my craw.

So read your sports page, and play on your desktop computers.
Have fun listening to your special games and your daily commuters.
But unless you study His words in the Bible and read it as babes. 
Your fate will be sealed and the consequences will be grave.
