(I memo as if yesterday)
As I entered in unto my momma's house
Upon to which she dwelt
There's Such Magnificent Love within the air
So Enormous Peace... and Sweetness ever
I saw her sitting in her chair
I ask her if she was alright..
She smile at me within her face such a glow
She said "Oh honey, I have Never felt better in all my Life!"

Then she smiled and said, Remember
"I Love You the most" and I Love your children too'
And tell the rest I love them the same" (speaking of my sisters/brothers)
I said "momma, I Love You too more than you could ever know, 
Are you sure you're alright?"

She smiled within her face such a glow
She said "Oh honey, I have Never felt better in all my Life!'
Then she smiled within her face such a glow
Then she said again.. Remember "I Love You the most"
And I love you children and husband too (she spoke of my first husband)

I felt within the room, such Magnificent Love in the air
Then she's said "And tell the rest.. I love them the same" 
She smiled at me within her face such a glow
I said, "Momma, come Monday, I shall come and spend the whole day with you!"
I shall bring my two little daughters too, who just got pictures taken
I have some for you, their hair done up in curls, tis beautiful" 

She smiled within her face such a glow
She said, "Honey, you keep them pictures, for I won't need them, where I go"
I said, chuckling "Oh momma, you're not going anywhere" 
I will come Monday

Then she smiled within her face such a glow
Then she said, Listen to me Whatever you do, don't argue the Word"
And soon you shall have a son' 
I laughed said "Momma I am not pregnant"
I am not, gonna have any more children For I am done 
For my husband has had done me wrong
(But-within a year-I had my son)

She smiled within her face was such a Radiant glow
She then said Listen.. In the future No Matter what anyone says
Even if it be Your own Child, Don't Listen to what they say"
"He is a Good Man" "Be with Him"
I said "Whatcha mean Momma?"
She smiled within her face such a glow

Then my ride came.. As I kissed her face so..I told her I had go
But I shall return come Monday, spend the whole day through with her
Bringing my two daughters with pictures done up in curls

But. As I memo
In tears come within my eyes
That Monday never came 
For My Momma Passed away that Sunday 
                                                 "I Love You, Momma"
