The sun goes down
And the moon comes up
With the moon
Rises the goons
So I hide in my room
A knife in my hand
Call me crazy
Go ahead
But you’ll be sorry
When they’ve come for you
No believed me
They called me a liar
The psycho girl who called monster
But I’ll show you
I’ll show them all
I keep a knife
By my bedside
I keep it there
Because I’m convinced 
There are monsters under the bed
I keep a noose
In my closet
In case plan A doesn’t go too well
There are monsters under the bed
(I’m secretly crazy)
I’m not kidding they’re there I promise you
(The monsters are in my head)
They’ll kill you!
(Not if they kill me first!)
I’m not crazy!
(I know I am)
This isn’t a sick joke
If this was a sick joke I’d be laughing hysterically
(But I’m always laughing hysterically)
“Lock her away! Lock her away!”
No! Don’t lock me away!
(Give me the jacket)
I kick and I claw as they drag me away
(I’m secretly thrilled to see the rubber room)
“Give me the chair! Give me the chair!”
I’d rather die than stay here!
(No I honestly wouldn’t.)
Locked away in my cell
My personal little hell
I can’t move my arms
They’re glued to my side
(Give me back my sanity!)
The monsters took my sanity
“Guard! Guard! They’re monsters in the cell!”
(Now I know they’re really real.)
“Poor kid,” Says the guard as he shakes his head
(The monsters are real you poor fool)
I said it all along and no one believed me
Now they’re all gonna die
(They’re trapped with me in the cell)
I can’t move my arms 
They’re glued to my side
But now my brain and I agree
The monsters are real!
They’re just all trapped inside
