Times has passed 
and seasons changed 
but here you always remain 
always eternally the same 
and always just out of range 
It may seem strange 
that after all these years 
I can't stop shedding these tears 
and you keep coming back 
never leaving me alone 
yet tragically colder than stone 
and i am alone 
though you are standing here 
so distant yet so near 
nothing but a specter i cant reach 
a ghostly memory 
the lesson your memory tried to teach 
that to love someone not in love 
is a foolish thing indeed 
my soul will always be in need 
and my eyes always cast back and above 
to the love i could not have 
to the woman i miss more than any other kiss 
i love you still 
though i lack the will 
to walk on and move on 
i guess it's just my lot 
you are my heart's ceaseless comfort 
that lonely pain stabbing in memory 
the lovely and beautiful 
love
