Sitting alone feeling blue, wondering why I haven't heard from you, A thought comes and I become sad, Wondering if I have done something to make you mad,Then the phone rings and it is you, You say you are thinking of me too, I can't talk long is the next thing you say, I just needed to hear your voice today, Then I say I needed that too, And we hang up with a simple I Love You! It is the small things like this that made me give my heart to you, It is not the money or the gifts, It is the simple things you do. A walk in the park late at night,Sitting and watching the stars amazed by their light. You twirling around in the air, Just so you can watch the wind blow through my hair, Pushing me on the swing up high, Lending me a shoulder when I need to cry, You stood by me through all of the sad times I had,You were even there for me when I treated you bad, Oh, it is like sweet poetry, when you seem to be amazed by me, All of my life I have never known anything as true, As the Love i know when I am with you.
