Poem
Quietly I sat staring out my bedroom window Waiting for his return the Snow begins to fall, and the wind is very cold my heart begins to yearn the anticipation is over whelming my thoughts drifted back to our yesterdays together Good times... so many good times, so very long ago memories of our love and laughter filled this room, Where we had watched the growth of our love What happened to our love Was it still lingering somewhere in his heart somewhere Deep beneath that outer layer Of paranoia and despair I watched him leave through the door Into the cold, dark lonely night I longed to stop him I desired to embrace him this feeling was too hard to fight So as I sat there all alone, tears begin to fall from my eyes tears of loneliness I felt all alone no one to hold me to love me to comfort me I felt so incomplete without his love I long for him I'd die for him as these thoughts race in my head I see the sun rising and the room begins to brighten I mean a light so bright it was like my eyes were open to a new life that very moment that bright light was Jesus Christ he came and said my child I will never leave you nor forsake you man will always disappoint you but I am always here so dry your eyes my sweet child don't remain in denial don't point your finger at another check your heart, and you will discover it's my love you ignored I will never walk away my love is here to stay when I heard the voice of Jesus that day his love I excepted right away I will never put another before you Jesus because your love is what I needed
