We were both arrested, 1st degree burglary, and me 1st degree burglary and 2nd degree 
attempted rape!  I couldn't believe I was charged with these two charges, when nothing was 
stolen, we didn't break in, and the woman was never even touched.  We both told detectives 
that we were both stoned out of our minds, that we thought we were going to the right 
house.  A breatherlizer proved we were very intoxicated.
     So I sat in jail.  A private investigator was hired for my case.  He interviewed the woman, 
who admits on tape, that was later recorded into a manuscript.  She admits I never once laid 
a hand on her.  I never attempted or showed any hostility towards her!
     She just kept stressing the fact we should have never went into her house.  I made sure 
copies of her interview with P.I. was made, because my fellow soupers this is a serious 
charge and I wanted everyone to know I was innocent of all this.
     Unfortunatly I would have to go to trial for both charges!  Because they both happened at 
the same time.  Now I knew I could beat the 2nd degree attempted rape - but the 1st degree 
burglary probably not, because technically I did enter her house.  Even the D.A. knew I could 
beat the 2nd degree attempted rape.  That is why they offered me a plea 8-10 years for 
burglary only - which is the lowest time given for that charge. But I would plead "Alford" plea 
on the attempted rape.  See I had a big juvinile/teenage record - so I was afraid to put my 
fate in 12 strangers hands.  Plus my pregnant fiancee was telling me to take the plea and 
she'll stand behind me.
     So I took the plea, here I am 7 1/2 years later.  With a year left.  I ended up marrying 
my fiancee. But after my youngest was born she left me for another man.  My family was 
supportive - But then my momma passed in 2007 - her passing nearly drove me insane.
     See I messed up as a juvinile and my late teens.  I straightened up became a DJ, but the 
club scene, drinking, druging,  I fell into it all.  Looking back soupers, I wish I would have 
went to trial.  I wasted 7 years of my life for a crime I didn't commit!  In here, I've gotten in 
fights, (If you don't you get taken advantage of by other inmates). I rebelled against the 
D.O.C. system, because these officers are snakes.  They treat all inmates badly unless 
you're a snitch or child molester!  I've survived this hellhole!
