In distress.. out of time
Wasted longing.. heinous crime
Fate unknown but error marked
The future looks so grim and dark

Strong of mind, yet weak of heart
All your words.. stinging darts
I knew the truth of our.. once bliss.
All revealed in that one kiss

A lie of love that tears my heart
The end was near.. from the start
The empty truth now unfolds
A modern try.. on crimes of old.

Life without love, a safe bet
But to your hearts, eternal debt.
Simple truth, brings anguish - deep
Lives are lost, while children sleep

The whole of the world, is cold and dark
It leaves you naked in a park..
The brutal hearts of modern man
Are nothing to God's strong hand.

In his eyes, we know ourselves
For your crimes, eternal hell
Salvation full, is yours to earn.
Eternal bliss, for lessons learnt.

In God's eyes, we're all the same.
He will come, he is coming.. He came.
