Poem

His calloused hands forsook the carpentry trade, His Father's will to keep.
His tender hands grasped a shepherd's crook to tend His precious sheep.
His consoling hands hold our own when from sadness and grief we weep.
His guiding hands steer us along righteous paths with His love so deep!

His healing hands touched their eyes and behold the blind could see!
His steadying hands reached out to Peter and rescued him from the sea!
His compassionate and bleeding hands were nailed upon a rugged tree.
There he suffered and died yet lived again, from sin to set us free!

His steadfast hands are there to guide us o'er life's perilous strands.
His invitation is everlasting - we need only to grasp His beckoning hands.
In this troubled world that makes upon each of us such diverse demands,
We can put our trust in The Master's Hands for he truly understands!
