Poem

When i was with you i was sad
there was this hatred i felt so bad
i did everything i could to help you
all those wasted years i went through 
alcohol was your best friend 
alcohol was first and me at the end
you would rather drink than go on a date 
this poisin will soon be your fate 
its ruining your life cant you see 
thats why i got out i had to think about me
im glad i dont need to deal with it anymore
i was tormented till my head was sore
getting up for work while u lay all day
"im looking for a job" you would always say
i was unhappy for years
it got to the point i could shed no tears
the love faded a long time ago 
so it made it easier to let you go 

iv moved on with my life and have met someone new
and i hoped the same would happen with you
im so happy now but i wish you where too
i wasnt prepared for wot you where goin to do
you tried to kill yourself but were found on time
just when  i thought everything was fine
i didnt no you were taking it so bad
when i heard you were in hospital it just made me feel mad 
i just hope it wont happen again
the guilt would drive me insain
and i hope you get better and move on with your life
hopefully have kids a house and a wife
things will get better i wish you the best
but please dont make me watch you get lowered down to rest
