Poem

Here I am sitting down and on my face is a long, long frown.
I wish I could go to another part of town
and find me a guy that's not a clown.
I have a mother who lives so near,
but does she visit?
No because she doesn't care.
I have a father who wouldn't even bother,
to call his daughter,
he would never know if I was murdered and slaughtered.
I have a boyfriend who is so immature,
but his ignorance I try to ignore,
how he needs to learn so much more,
he swears that he's so hard core,
but the streets is all he knows and nothing more.
I need a man and not a boy,
one who'll pick up the news paper before a toy.
He's a boy inside and out;
"it's over" are the words I wish to shout.
My best friend is special in many ways
she could go on lieing for days and days,
I think it's time we got some space
before I end up punching her dead in her face.
I have only one person who truly cares,
but she is no longer physically here.
Her words of wisdom are all I hear
and she's the only one i'de allow to see me shed a tear,
because only she can comfort me when i'm full of fear.
I will try to get through this, I will win this battle.
My heart and mind will unite
and together we shall win this fight,
I will try to get through this with all my might
even if i'm full of fright.
Walking through the dark,GOD will help me
and shed his light.
