Drifting thru nuclear waste, Hammond was lost.
Beginning this trip to wine and dine, his love Rosie.
Also to attend the vacuum salesmen convention,
Insomnia and pain had started to take their toll.
Eyes strained, UFO has emerged within wormholes.
Friends had warned him, giving Tid-Bits of stories.
This gig had trapped his ship, now in dire straights.
He decided to go to the kitchen or galley for a drink.
Therefore, he could take his medicine, and ponder situation.
Before reaching his destination, everything went black.
Next thing he knew, he was standing in lunar craters.
Wearing Spandex boxer shorts and a cowboy hat,
Now he was definitely confused, where am I?
Standing there an alien appeared before his eyes.
This weird alien said use this Listerine soaked tissue.
Place upon your ears, one corner on each lobe.
The rest stretched across your lips and nose quick.
Upon completing the Aliens instructions, he shook.
Trembling and convulsing, his form began to change.
His memories of the stories told, recalling now.
Those Aliens were traveling, hosting upon others.
One moment had passed; he knew he was changed.
Looking into the black reflective liquid chambers,
Lying upon the surface, seeing his reflection,
Instantly, he knew that his destiny had begun anew.
He was a spitting image of the alien he had seen.
Doomed, Hammond will go forth, assimilating creatures.
