Poem
Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends. I stand here today blessed and okay willings and just fine I stand here today and you is still a friend of mine that walked with me along the same pathway we had our ups and downs seen and mixed in middle of fights but at the end of days and days we all seem to come around to put aside our differences and who's wrong and who's right cause at the end of a hard day, when family isnt present, friends is the next best they turn into dat play brutha, sista, cuzo, or that favorite guest they was the one who always brought priceless smiles they gave the best gifts they made bad days worth while they turned sad days into lifts they made the most boring moments fun when your feets was tired, they'll go the extra mile and take your run sometimes you have to watch who you call friends covered in masks, fony lies and a need to betray i stand hear today remembering all the ones we lost along the way how i tried and tried to bring the pieces back to one but the picture never took frame we think how we was back stabbed, cheated, and skipped along like a ruleless game I stand here today wondering the true meaning of a friend A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.
