I've got a photographic memory
That I sometimes forget to mention
Wait, is that like an oxymoron
Just seeing if you're paying attention

See, I can remember everything
But sometimes it's a curse
I even remember my mother-in-law's face
I mean, how could it get any worse?

Now sometimes, me and my wife will argue
And this is something, I really dread
Cause, I don't have to remember a thing
She reminds me of every word I said

There's some things I just can't remember
You know, like taking out the trash
But I think that's why I got married
Cause, she reminds me in a flash

And, there's other things, I might forget
Like, putting down the toilet seat
She becomes a regular Jekyll And Hyde
The meanest woman you'll ever wanna meet

So, remember, if ever I write a poem
And the words don't seem to rhyme
Say, "I thought you had a photographic memory"
Cause I forget it all the time
