Poem

A mountain of shoes as a monument
To each and every innocent,
Enslaved and starved, burned and killed,
So evil's plan could be fulfilled.

No grimmer stories were ever told 
By the Brothers Grimm in days of old.
More horrifying than theirs could be,
This shame for all of humanity.

In the year of Nineteen Thirty Three,
How could this evil have come to be?
A country slaughtering its own
Was not the sin of one man alone.

When each person alive at the time has died,
When every hot tear at last has dried,
It is hoped this leather voice remains,
To tell of what happens when Satan reigns.
