If I should leave you, I want you to know
Just because I know you, I fear the above
Everything I’m feeling, all the things I’m believing, I think I’ve had enough
But everything I’m feeling, all these things I’ll be deceiving for your love

There’s nothing left but this heartfelt distress
In my beating chest, in the heart I oppress
Everything I’m seeing, and with my dreams agreeing, I think I’m obsessed
But everything I’m bleeding, every word that I’m reading has lead me to assess

You are the goddess of everything I know
You are my lifeline, my smiles and my snow
You are more than this, but these words can never show
You are everything, but too divine for our love to grow

I have thrown it all, you are the last of what is real
No more chances left, either I die or I heal
Everything that’s ending, there’s no more point defending all that I feel
You are my desperation, my need to live, you’re the last chance I have before I 
must quit

You are the goddess of everything I’ve seen
You are my shield and sword, my eyes and my dreams
I will love you always but not in ways it seems
You are my hold on life, my pain and my screams
You’re a part of me and for that I must leave
We can never be and for that I will grieve
I’d only ever let you down until you can’t breathe
But you’re my goddess, and for you I’d take death from it’s sheathe
