I look in the mirror
What do I see?
I see a teenage girl begging to be understood
I see a teenage girl who hates what she has become
Full of hate and rage
Looking harder I see all the pain I've caused
I see my family in tears and what I've done to myself.
The burns, cuts, the chains, and the stitches are a constant reminder of who I've become, 
what I've become and who I'm becoming *Does that make since?*

I look in the mirror
What do I see?
I see a teenage girl wanting to laugh
Wanting to cry a good cry just because shes happy
Wanting to live in peace and unafraid of her past
I dont want to live in fear, in rage, in sadness, and in the shadows
I dont want to be looked down apon, or pushed asaide
I want to shine, to show my parents that I am a new person

The mirror in front of me
Is a teenage girl who can only change if she wants to
And those changes will be made today
