Tired, aching in disrepair
Shadows have left their mark as I stared
Something seeping into my mind
This thing, when it’s through I will never find

I see your face and I know that it’s just goodbye
For when we’re through you will see that I had lied
A curse of trust for my boredom and my spite
If I looked long enough I’d know that in you I hide
But I know

Fighting, fading into the scene
Hiding in mirrors that make me unclean
Deter my paper contract routine
You are just something I have been

I’ve seen it all and I have been everything
If what I see is a lie then I know that to look is to bring
Deceive me now before you give me a chance to sing
Pain and hatred and plastic broken wings
It’s nothing

Nothing will ever let me breathe
Darkness and anger is my world
This means that I had just not heard
Darkness and anger is my soul
Burning, I’m running down this hole

Nothing left to even bleed
Paper and plastic is my name
Trust me, we’ll screw and feed this vain
Buy love, smile until we die
Mannequins until the end of time
