of the muse
can't outright say the euphemism
kick the bucket
to buy the farm
laugh it off
better off
cornered this way
like the farmer of fear says
in the midst of repeated words on the radio
we think are swears
the one song of hate
skips along
differently all over the world
musn't be what we are craving
for we drum to the beat of something off skelter

grandma soo lonely
allergies acting up
chicken noodle
to pull the wool off the wolf
never see this coming
hindsight soo much better
of how to win the war
like the way we did before
hansel and grettel
something to show for it
art of love
art of passion
the painter as haunting as the story

no we end up in the cornfield
