Poem
If I knew my whole purpose in this life I wouldn't be here trying to get it right So I'll leave nothing behind And live life out of sight Attributing to the fact That my future looks bright Look, son, Now tell me what you see And it will appear When you are ready "Young grasshopper" I read the old news From way back in the day The foundation I use Life is just a choice with a means to an end It seems to me this is important But can you tell me when Everything will go the way it should If you know that answer You've done more than I could So what now Do we do for the confused? Tell them it's simple It's the tools that you use To get ahead in life and stay out of the gutter Now I know life can seem hopeless like you can't relate to another Individual, at least that's the way it would seem But life isn't hopeless You've just got to choose the right team People matter more than you know Think about that for a minute and your answer will be given so If I knew my whole purpose in this life I wouldn't be here trying to get it right So I'll leave nothing behind And live life out of sight Attributing to the fact That my future looks bright Now this is for me If that is what you see I'm looking for something Is that consistency? Keeping myself steady and breaking no rules Laws are made for men and law breaking is for fools So son, I fly right and give it all to God In Him I can never go wrong So I keep my faith in God Now that leads me to my ultimate struggle My nature seems good But it gets me in trouble So I know nothing But what I need to know At the proper time even God will say so That I will or would If I knew how To search for my blessing and my blessing is now The fact that I'm alive and calm in my nature That's the peace I need surrounded by nature Now I may be blind But my faith is strong I see nothing but riches And that keeps me strong If I knew my whole purpose in this life I wouldn't be here trying to get it right So I'll leave nothing behind And live life out of sight Attributing to the fact That my future looks bright
