Poem
When every soul is getting older And the trees are no longer green When the wind is getting warmer Not as cool as it has been Is this earth changing? I love planet earth like a home I dreamt of it comfortable so we can live safely and happy Maybe all we need to do is to set our minds For what God has been given to us Wrapped by this enormous roof called the blue sky And instead of getting scared in the dark God presented us with millions of crystal bulbs called the stars The trees are our blankets They absorbed each raindrop to keep us away from being cold Protected us from the sun to keep us warm Providing us with food and beauty What made you doubt? That all things are blessed from heaven and yet we desert it Sometimes I think that the old ways kept us on the right path But the politic of currency has made us greed It’s always about staying alive Surviving ourselves from this malicious world We all being brain washed by the wrong education And being raised by the misled tradition What I used to know an old myth was told to me They said that our old ancestors used to respect the nature For what it has been given to all the living things Having a spiritual communication with the sound of the wind No one wonders it could keep the balance of the earth It’s still a long way to live in this earth so keep the balance What made us changed? What made us turned into some uncontrollable beings? Many days we never notice that the earth is changing We are too busy to build our own kingdom While in afar, way from the place you are living Some places have changed, some trees have gone, and some ices have melted Why the winter is late this season? Why the sun shines too bright, it hurts when it touches our skins? If in my place, I feel so hot and dry Imagine the children who are living in other part of the world Living in hunger and in pain Where maybe five years ago the country is burning by the sun Imagine it now, how heat is the place We’ve ruin the balance In the old days, cutting trees is like cutting a soul So our ancestors realized that there are boundaries It’s the balance we have to keep Because this earth is our home And for the next generations, this earth is their home too. look at the color of the green on the trees; look how it move and dancing following the wind feel how this hair of the earth comfort us from heat and keep them within us, forever. because this earth is our home, let it always be
