The Young Knight Stood By The River … His Reflections, Deep In Thought Tho’ the Water, Was As A Mirror His Appearance, Was Not What He Sought They Said, This Place Was Special And in Truth, and in Beauty, So Twas' And Sturgeon Below the Surface Was Plentiful But He Was Here, For A Higher Cause In Truth, He Would Not Hurt A Lamb Tho’ He Was Bold and Brave and Strong Twas’ A Year Whence, He Slayed His First Man And From Thence, He Vowed, He’d Do Nay Wrong So, He Came Here, To Commune With Nature And Pledge Penance For The Bloodguilt-Crime For He Bare The Burden of Censure And Needed Ease for His Remorseful Mind And In The Clearing, By The River Where A Doe and A Hare Did Graze He Looked O’er His Woolen-Clad Shoulder And A Soft, Mist Breeze Seemed To Say … ‘ You Are Forgiven, Young Knight You Are Forgiven Everything You Have Borne, Your Blame-Plight And Your Conscious Has Paid Penalty You Are Forgiven, Young Knight You Are Forgiven Everything And This Is How You Will Know, ‘Tis Alright Whence Innocence, To Thy Side Will Bring … ‘ ...
