your confusing me
why does this have to be so 
complicated

your breaking me 
with every smile that brings me
close...i thought it brought me closer
to your core

now i see that it is possibly
just a sweet lie

as you move father 
and farther away from my reaching grasp
soon ill be forced to pull myself back

i must pull myself away from your tranqualizer
because, your crushing me with your illegitimate stares

....tell me the truth
its just one, one simple word
do you care? 
i need to know

you said yes in the beginning
you didnt care if we hooked up
now.....now that she knows

you deflect my looks
you nullify my touch

yet there
....right there as you crush my heart
there is that smile
that makes me so very sad

and i look away
as i am confused again
just tell me
with everything aside
forget if you are suppose to be away from me

just tell me do you care?
im ready to cry because i dont know anymore
one night with your touch isnt enough to make me sure
nor is that look tainted with sadness that mixes in your gorgeous eyes

your burning in my core
crushing me inside
obliterating
...all that i have left

i need to know so i can get 
unattached

before i have a pre-year heart attack

a disease i can barely fight against
it is myself i need to defend
