Can you ever turn back?
................ the words that
whirl from your lips harsh
and wicked they lurk
aiming to cut, leaving dust 
in your throat.

Can you ever turn back?
................  the grip of fear baring 
its teeth, spit flying in between 
the anger and regret.

Can you ever turn back?
............... that one minute 
hold your breath scream,
while plummeting deeper
still... should of said it,
should of done it... but 
oh well next time.

Can you ever turn back?
 .............. the wound
you have created, a raging
river gutting into a cavern
of rock, splintering precious
bones.

Can you ever turn back?
............. just walk away
leave your family
leave a lover
leave your children
say to hell... I hope you die!

Can you ever turn back?
................your destiny 
wrong move, different grove
should of danced to a different
tune... play me a new song!

Can you ever turn it forward?
.... you know I know what is
done is left done but still the 
memories are wasted... by
fantasies of passed thoughts
and dreams.

But you can never go back!
...... to change it, to do things
different, not say a word, out
of fear, for in the minute all 
sins would.. wound, never
walk away, leave a true destiny..
You know I know it's possible 
just get it right the first time!
