Your Soul is meant for more By Michelle Morris 24/07/2025 I held a mirror up to your Soul The very Soul you said you didn't have And there you saw all your Demons The very Demons you denied throughout your Life Alas, it must be torture for you To realise you've always been wrong To have the Truth slam into you like a Tsunami It's remarkable how little you know yourself Even now, after all this Time You are still floundering in your Darkness You see the Abyss as your Comfort Because the Fear of Change is just too great Do you realise how much you're missing? Do you realise you are Nothing and Everything? You are more than this Mortal Shell You are Infinite and Divine Ah, but there in that Abyss In the Darkness within which you wallow There is the Spark of the Light I ignited You cannot put it out for I AM almighty You can continue on your Path This Journey that cycles downwards But that Light will keep illuminating the Darkness Those Demons cannot remain hidden They'll haunt you like your Dreams All those opportunities you've missed Every time you chose Fear and Darkness Every time you chose Power and Control For Love and Hope require Freedom They need space to move and grow You cannot lock them in your dungeon You cannot nurture them in the Darkness So, open your Heart and your Mind Let Love and Hope grow seeds of Joy Let Faith be shown in Believing Let the Light set your Soul Free You don't have infinite chances Your Journey as this Human Being will end You cannot graduate from this Lifetime If you are filled with Pain and Regrets If you make the right Choices If you give the Light a chance to Shine Your Soul will Bloom and Soar And that Abyss and Darkness will be defeated You won't see me again I was here for a fleeting moment But I hope you'll remember the feeling Of being considered worthy of the effort Let that remind you of your potential To accept your Soul is meant for more Because you were created by the Universe To Love and be Loved eternally Each of us is beautiful We are perfect in our imperfection We're part of a bigger picture We're contributing to a special story So, let your chapters be inspirational Let your Light dazzle your Demons to death Until you are able to help others by your Incandescence Each new Soul's Spark ignited to Shine © Michelle Morris, 2025
