there is a crack in everything that’s where the light gets in
or eternal waters to soak up sorrow and flood fertile grounds

solid meaningful foundations

at least and at last he did not submerge his pain in distilled spirits
instead took a path and commitment to a spiritual solution

a seeker one day at a time

when he finally surrendered himself to a Higher Power
stopped playing God and dissected his Ego he wept silent tears

floodgates opened and all star dust turned into mush
he knew he could not choose the colour of his life boat

all chakra’s hues turn into white once he would let go

reason did not suffice for reaching composite faith
so he prayed for his emotions to follow his thought

please let my character defects dissolve do away with my fears
as they served their purpose to identify wreckage and carnage

the vital force presented him with emptiness and to a degree
relief from a daily unease of being himself and no other
