Poem
A silvery dream upon the night sky Shining betwixt the tiny shimmers Queen of the dark alam is she, Beauty resting upon her in sanctity That mere words can’t help but flatter Brimming with epics at her flower beds That the poets sing praises But none versed enough To match her luminous attire Her light, a divine compassion Enlightening lost hearts, Blistering romantic rivers in every mortal she touched All hoping to meet their sea at least once And drown in her marvels in search of perils Losing themselves and all that pleases To an old enchanting melody And at an instant, I had fallen for her Her lightning smile Bringing bliss to all, myself no more special And when she smiles, She sinks a million worries Deep into oblivion Bringing to blossom white lavenders Promising a spiritual realm, Unknown, full of mysteries That I too longed to drift into, In my most eccentric dream Her hair an endless fountain, A true treasure I craved; So, her cheeks, blushing pink with dimples None less than a cynosure, to my weary eyes And the dark clouds a splendid scarf for her Hiding her alluring plain neck But her eyes, The most beautiful ever A cryptic aura of illusion it hides That I longed to behold And decode her heart full of treasures Forever I thought to be mine But hopeless I am So are other men Who had fallen for her scented romance For in her eyes, there lives but one man The glorious Sun. Whose majestic flare, The eternal light of the alam So is she, whose beauty eternal Men like me mere admirers Lonely hearts, humble for her origins But my love for her is no less Nor will it ever be. Yet still.... Only the confession of a mortal lunatic- Hopeless I’m, Alas I’m. But every blue moon she touches my senses And I fall for her again Not in front of any earthly woman But the goddess of beauty herself I have no guilt or regrets As my life here is done and dusted None to worry and none to please. Now all I await, is for an eternal bliss When my life of solitude would finally perish And myself a star closer to her than ever Will whisper my song of love in her ears But now all I sing is a melancholy full of despair That none wants to hear And in my eternal freedom, I shall once fly From this rotting cemetery; Of wandering souls Into a paradise of romantic whisperers Where I side by side with my beloved, Will finally rest in peace And script our own pageless romantic epic Enjoying the dark shades and the silent pause Hopeful I am—alas, I am.
