Poem
Your kiss still lingers on my lips, A fleeting memory that time won't rip. Your smile, a radiant beam of light, Echoes in my mind, a bittersweet sight. Your laughter, contagious and free, Haunts me now, a melancholy melody. In whispers of the night, I hear your voice, A gentle breeze that makes my heart rejoice. The stars align, a celestial map, Guiding me back to memories we've mapped. Your great company, a treasure rare, Leaves me longing, with an empty air. Time may have taken you far from me, But in my dreams, you're still beside me. The shadows dance upon the wall, Reminding me of moments we'd recall. Your presence, a warmth that won't fade, A love so strong, though now it's made of shade. The city streets, once walked with glee, Now feel empty, devoid of you and me. The songs we sang, the stories we'd share, Echoes of memories, beyond repair. In every step, I feel your absence deep, A hollow space, where love once used to creep. The seasons change, the years go by, Yet in my heart, your love still sighs. A flame that burns, though dimmed with time, A love so true, forever on my mind. The memories we made, a treasured past, A bittersweet reminder of love that won't last. In moonlit nights, I see your face, A vision of beauty, a gentle, loving pace. The wind whispers secrets, of what we had found, A love so pure, in a world unbound. Though you're gone, your memory stays, A bittersweet reminder of love's fleeting ways. The silence now, a heavy weight, A loneliness that time cannot abate. The memories, a bittersweet refrain, A longing that remains, though love's in vain. Yet even in sorrow, I'll hold on tight, To the love we shared, in the dark of night. In dreams, I see us, hand in hand, Walking together, through a promised land. The love we shared, a guiding light, A beacon in darkness, shining bright. Though reality may take you far from me, In my heart, your love will forever be. The years may pass, the memories fade, But in my heart, your love will forever be displayed. A love so strong, though now it's lost, A memory I'll treasure, forever the cost. Of loving you, of losing you too, A bittersweet reminder, of love that's true. And though I'll wander, through life's unknown, Your memory will guide me, back to love's home. In every sunset, I'll see your smile, A fleeting glimpse, of love's gentle trial. In every star, I'll see your shining light, A love that guided me, through the darkest night.
