Poem

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder 
That our differences make it subjective
But when it comes to black beauty 
We are the blueprint
And objectively you can't argue with architecture 
Especially when we've seen the beauty of its structure 

You can't say you hate our skin
Then paint your skin our colour
Whilst simultaneously discriminate 
Against a race you try to eliminate
Just because our skin glimmers 
Does not mean you get to become killers
Just because we have our crown on top of our head 
Does not mean we are a threat 
How about you stop being racist and try therapy instead 
Because the hate you give 
Does not mean you are superior 
It means you are small and inferior
You have one life and you choose to hate 
Let's get one thing straight
We will not be fooled by your bait
Because while we live by the rules of freedom 
You are trapped in a museum of your own envy 
Festering away whilst we live freely

You can continue your train of hate
But we will not participate 
Find someone else to bully 
Because we will not humour your jealousy
Which to you is such a pity 
When your life revolves around our misery
In the end we are the winners 
And our joy will be your killers
