Poem
But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him. Be angry, and do not sin. Mediate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah Offer the the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the LORD. There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?" LORD lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lay down in peace, and sleep: For you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. Ps 4:3-8 At the time Jesus answered and said," I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and the prudent and have revealed them to babes. "Even, so, Father for it seemed good in Your sight. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Mat 11:25-30 Trust in the LORD with all your heart. And lean not unto your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh And strength to your bones. Prov 3:5-8 Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice...For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Portion of 1 Sam 15:22-portion of 22 Behold rebellion steams from a stubborn and a rebellious heart and causes mankind to free fall into the snares and the traps of the enemy of our souls. Being and remaining stubborn and hard hearted equals the wickedness of iniquity and the idolatry of worshiping false idols and pagan gods. Today that equals the alter of the prosperity gospel, secularism and materialism, pride, haughtiness, contempt and self love. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God--through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Rom 7:24-25 In Jesus name Amen!
