Am I worthy of your love?

Not the fleeting kind that fades with time,
Not love born of lust or passing need—
But love that’s rooted in truth,
In patience, in kindness, in grace renewed .

Sometimes, I feel the burdened weight of judgment
Lurking between your words—
A shadow cast not on who I am,
But who I once had to be.

Yes, I shared my past.
Not for pity, not for penance—
But because it carved the woman standing before you now.
And though my scars are visible,
They are not signs of weakness,
But of survival.

Am I worthy of your love?
I have faced storms that would drown most.
I have fought wars with no allies,
Carried burdens no one saw,
And still—I rise.

I do not point fingers.
I do not seek excuses.
I am the sum of every choice,
Every fall,
Every rise.

I am intelligent,
Sharp in thought and fierce in instinct.
I’ve maneuvered through life’s fires
With a mind forged in hardship
And a heart that still hopes.

Am I worthy of your love?
I am not soft in the way the world romanticizes—
I am soft like steel warmed by the sun.
Resilient. Refined. Unbreakable.
And though I may stumble,
I never stay down.

No, I am not perfect—
But I am open.
Moldable, not because I lack identity,
But because I believe in growth,
In becoming.

Even when I failed myself,
Even when I strayed from the light,
God never turned His face.
And if He can still call me beloved,
Then so can I.
And so can you.

So, I ask again—
Not in desperation,
But in truth,
In fire,
In faith:

Am I worthy of your love?
